Something i threw together. The strict linear structure and balanced compositions of my page layouts is shocking to me, knowing that i have never considered myself to operate within any sort of structure at all and am, in truth, really quite a mess. i guess i find it shocking to know that somewhere in me is an anal-retentive graphic designer with an eye for hue harmony and repetitious fonts. This is one of many, of course, and is obviously very basic, but all my web pages seem to maintain this minimalist approach.... i mean, clearly (blog)...

NIGHT TIMING

I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have the best friends. Really, I do. I will continue to make a valiant effort to join them more on their impromptu outings. Last night was perfect. The night's depth and indeterminate drive, love, and epitomization of what we call summer was more or less captured thru the few shots I took on the shore of the Platte at midnight, yes midnight. And, as always, until I get one, BUI's don't exist.

These are from a project I did back in January. They're the second half of my Pabst shoot. I was under the assumption that my 35mm had transparency film in it, but, as i would find out when i dropped it off to be processed, it didn't. so i said fuck it, cross process it. and this is what i got. thankfully, cyan is my favourite color. Anyway, i thought it was interesting how the only other hue that seems to come through is the red in the cans.
